An interesting workshop titled "Digital Cultural Heritage Management & Digital Skills for Museum Professionals" was organized at the Diachronic Museum of Larissa on December 11, 2018, by the DAISSy research team of the Hellenic Open University with the support of the Larissa Antiquities Ephorate, the Delegation of Culture and Sciences of the Municipality of Larissa and the Hippocrates Association of Larissa.
The event was organized within the framework of the European Mu.SA - Museum Sector Alliance, funded by the Erasmus + / Sector Skills Alliance. The project aims to fill the gap between education and  market, a gap that has become more obvious due to the increasing introduction of ICT in museums and the emergence of new specialties.
New trends and prospects in the area were presented during the event, as well as the efforts made in this direction by the Museums of the region.
