At the Diachronic Museum of Larissa, there are interior and exterior spaces which are available for hire, in order to house various events such as workshops, company presentations, press conferences, seminars, conferences, general assemblies, book presentations and others. Every scheduled event may be combined with a visit to the exhibitions of the Museum. The prerequisite for these events is that they comply with the aims of the Museum and that the particular places are free from events organized by the Diachronic Museum of Larissa or by the Antiquities Ephorate of Larissa.

In particular, there is an amphitheatre of 100 seats in the ground floor of the Museum, with full audiovisual infrastructure (video projector, laptop, DVD player, loudspeakers, wireless microphone, and projector with three wired microphones). In the ground floor, there is also the café of the Museum which can be used during the breaks of the events. Our café could provide coffee, refreshments, light drinks and snacks while there is the option of an external catering.

Additionally, events can also take place in the hall of the periodic exhibition provided that there is no current exhibition or that the current exhibition can run smoothly and safely at the same time as the hosted event. The periodic exhibition hall covers 500sq.m. and it can hold up to 250 seats. In this particular room the use of portable audiovisual media is possible (video projector, laptop, loudspeakers, microphones, reading stand) upon request.

Finally, weather permitting, events can be held in the gardens of the Museum. In this case also, portable audiovisual media can be used.

For further information and availability you can contact the Ephorate of Antiquities of Larissa.
